Hey there. It's my first post, yay!
Wanted to make this post to explain a few things, such as a general update schedule, why I've got this name, what it's purpose is, things like that.
First off, my name. "pcp_apocrypha" seems like a pretty random name, huh? Well, the first part, "PCP" stands for "Personal Challenge Project". I'll get more into that later. "Apocrypha" means, according to Google, "biblical or related writings not forming part of the accepted canon of Scripture." or "writings or reports not considered genuine." I more chose this word because I like the ring of it, but also because my PCP details a version of my story that could be considered not canon - a smaller version of a much bigger tale.
Two, what's a PCP? This question is more for those just stumbling onto my blog. A Personal Challenge Project is, well, a project that I get to design for my school. A... self design, if you will. This blog itself is meant to give a little more insight into my thinking process for said project.
Three, what's the update schedule looking like? Well, I'm planning to at least have a progress update every Monday. These general posts will be whenever I feel like it, and to give the blog much more content than just "5% complete, I did a thing" posts.
Four, what can we expect to see in those random posts? Well, things like inspirations or writing pieces not related to the project itself. Maybe also my planning process, how I name characters, concept art, etc. Really just depends on what I wanna post.
That's it for now, however. My next post, I'm hoping, is gonna be about my inspirations.
